Mental Health Services for Children

  • The Alameda County Childcare Planning Council advises and makes recommendations to policymakers to ensure that all children and families have access to quality child care that educates children and enriches their lives. Their publication Alameda County Directory of Early Childhood Mental Health Services (0-6) and Child Care Mental Health Services and Consultation gives a list of mental health care services for childen in the following categories:

  • The Link to Children (TLC)

    Kidango, Inc. provides free mental health services to qualifying families with children ages 0-5 who live in the Alameda and Santa Clara Counties. Their mental health specialists provide in home visitation, education/training, therapy, developmental screenings, behavioral intervention, support services for teachers and families, consultations and referrals.
